A character that you will see a lot in life is Tartuffe. He lives behind a mask. Orgon is not a super intelligent person. It did not take much for Tartuffe to fool Orgon. To the public they see him as this awesome, could do no wrong type of guy. In private he is a man full of sin. He looks like a nice lovable guy but he is a very very bad man.  In private he will eat up all of the food and drink all of the drinks in Orgon's house. In reality there are many people who wear a mask and will get you to believe they are someone who they are not.

Tartuffe is a tricky character, representing the hypocrisy in the church and of church-goers. This was very important for the time it was written in.

Tartuffe was a very sly person and I like the way you described him. You mentioned how everyone looks at him like he is cool and deep down he's a bad guy. That is very important to the story considering he makes Orgon look like a fool.
