First, let me begin by stating that we have two Learning Management Systems (LMS). The one that is incorporated with the myTC or portal page and is often referred to as the Jenzabar LMS, but is actually named eLearning and the other is TCOnline or Moodle LMS.
Further down the page are elements related to the Moodle LMS. Even though they are not visualized using the latest version, their function is still the same but the menus may be a bit different.
Putting Your Course Online in the Moodle LMS
Not published to students CurrentThese videos cover a step by step process on using all aspects of designing an exciting and engaging classroom within the Moodle Learning Management System. You can set up a class that is 100% online or begin "chunking" your content to flip your classroom or purely as supplemental content your providing your face-to-face classes.
All 'new' or prospective online teachers must complete watching these videos to obtain some best practices and standards for setting up and managing their online class.
A "MASTER" classroom shell will be needed to begin designing your classroom. Contact Kirby Fowler kirby.fowler@texarkanacollege.edu or Rusty Hatchett harold.hatchett@texarkanacollege.edu if you have any questions or as you need assistance.- Not published to students Current
