Create a "Personal Philosophy Collage." See an explanation below:

As you are approaching the end of your senior year, take the opportunity to reflect on where we have been and where we are going. Each phase of life is filled with challenges that will affect, change, and shape us. This assignment asks you to create a collage that symbolizes your philosophy at this particular time in your life and to write about it.

Your collage will convey your philosophy towards life. It will be a grouping of pictures, colors, symbols, words, drawings, and other artifacts that work together to express a point.

      STEPS TO CREATE A COLLAGE:

      1. Create five (5) personal maxims: Before you begin, you will write five (5) personal maxims (a maxim is a rule of conduct) that you attempt to follow daily. These are your core beliefs, or slogans, that comprise your philosophy. POST YOUR MAXIMS IN THE FORUM.

      2. Create a collage: Use your creativity to construct a collage that expresses your maxims through a variety of visual means. The collage may be any shape, limited to a size of roughly 8.5” x 11” (inches). You may use words, pictures, drawings, etc. Fill the page!

      3. You will take a picture of your collage and upload it to the assignment portal.

4 Next, type a short essay explaining how your collage conveys your philosophy. To receive full credit, use complete sentences, correct spelling, and correct grammar. Using correct MLA formatting is also required.
