Some of my favorite satirical comedians and hosts include Dave Chappelle, Ali Wong, and Stephen Colbert. While their job is to make people laugh, their jokes do have a deeper and more meaningful meaning. They use their platforms to speak on more serious topics that currently surround the world that we live in. I believe that comedians use this strategy to help other people who may be struggling with these serious issues and to help see things from a different perspective. I think that this style of comedy is so popular because it is a way for people to make fun of certain topics in a funny way.
I am also a big fan of Dave Chappelle! I agree that comedians like him help us see things from a different perspective.
I am a huge fan of Stephan Colbert. I love his strategy and his way of lightning up tough topics.
