What is the purpose for posting my vitae and syllabus information?
This classroom is designed as a place for instructors to place their curriculum vitae (resume) and their respective syllabi for their course(s). In this manner, you can keep the vitae information up-to-date as well as the syllabus information.
It is not necessary to have a detailed syllabus for your course(s), a general one will do. The notion is that this information may be accessed by prospective students, that have no log in credentials, to see information regarding their instructor(s) and their expectations for their courses.
These classrooms are available to guests and are a requirement of the Southern Association of Community Colleges, to be within 3 clicks off the schools public website.
There is a template for the vitae that can be edited within Moodle, which will alleviate any need to recreate it and re-upload it in PDF, when you need to update it.
PDF's are the preferred format of documents, as most everyone has a PDF reader. To upload these or any other files you can simply drag them from your desktop to thebox to upload your document, then you can move it to the proper area with the move tool.
