1. My beliefs should conform to my best scientific understanding of the world. I should never distort scientific facts to fit my beliefs, and, if facts are opposed to my beliefs, I shall reconcile and reform them. 

2. The freedoms of others should be respected, including their freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly intrude upon the freedoms of another is to surrender my own.  

3. I will strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all, in accordance with reason. 

4. Loyalty is an attribute earned. Should one want my loyalty, they must prove they deserve it, as I will conversly attempt to do with them.

5. I am fallible. If I make a mistake, I should do my best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.
