Religious affiliation is a personal choice; it cannot be forced on someone. As a Christian, I firmly believe in this statement as I have experienced it firsthand. I am adopted and when I moved in with my now parents they tried forcing their religion on me. They are Pentecostal so their faith can be pretty extreme and intimidating so when they forced it on me it pushed me away rather than making me want to learn about it. I think religion should be something someone chooses for themselves and as a Christian, I believe God gave us freedom of choice for that exact reason. It has to be something the person wants, but it isn't wrong to spread your religion if it's done in the correct way.
