Being obligated to listen to someone talk, for me is never fun. I say that because I am not a listener. I like to be the one doing the talking. When I went to MEPS this past week I had to listen to many story's from old veterans. The vets talked about when they were "in our shoes" all the way to present date and keep in mind there were five veterans we got to hear from. The first one I thought was really cool. The second vet talked about his life story and I still thought it was pretty neat. By the time we got to the fifth story, I was passed smooth out. More or less, I still enjoyed listening to what they had to say and how the veterans life in the military formed out to what it is today.
