I can relate to Tartuffe because someone from my past did me wrong like Tartuffe wronged Orgon. Orgon's relationship with his own family was damaged by Tartuffe. He is referred to as "The Impostor" or "The Hypocrite." He persuades Orgon and Madame Pernelle that he is a sincere, modest, and holy man, but it is clear that he is a hypocrite.

The main “strength” of Tartuffe is his ability to identify his victim's weaknesses and then take advantage for his own gain. Whatever it takes to ensure his triumph, Tartuffe will do. His passion is the reason for Tartuffe's demise. Tartuffe revealed his true self, a hypocrite, as a result of lust.
