One of my favorite comedians right now is Theo Von a quote from him is "I was a two tank top in the winter guy". He tells many trailer park-type stories where you never know what he will say next. His goal is to make people laugh and help people in need. He helped a thirty-two-year-old man who was living with his mom get on his feet and take responsibility in a funny way. This style is so popular because it is so random and unexpected. Another one of my favorite comedians is Tom Segura. His style is to tell stories he experienced in his everyday life. He attacks people in his stories and makes them a joke. This style is popular because many people have been in situations like Tom Segura.
I also find that the unexpected aspect of this type of comedy tends to make it popular. I have personally never heard of Tom Segura but I will have to look into his work.
