Overview Topic 10: Death and Dying
Overview
In this topic we will, describe how the moment of death is defined. As well as, analyze causes of and reactions to death across the life span and Kübler-Ross’s theory on the process of dying. Students should be able to explain ways in which people can exercise control over how they spend their last days and describe alternatives for providing end-of-life care for the terminally ill. Finally, we will describe how survivors react to and cope with death.
